LMI provides a full complement of controllers and accessories to gain full and complete utilization from your LMI pumps and to effectively control your dosing and metering application. These include a wide range of controllers to electronic flow monitoring, back pressure valves that Zeroday can incorporate into your feeding system.
Liquitron™ Controllers

DC5500 Cooling Tower Controller with Remote Programming & Communications
The DC5500 has all of the features of the popular DC4500 Controller (see below); dual biocides & inhibitor pumps control, 0-20,000mS conductivity range, four feed modes, etc. The DC5500 also has the additional features of a second water meter input, three tank level inputs, and most importantly- communications capabilities to download historical data, view real time conditions, and program the controller remotely. Each DC5500 has an RS232 serial port for data downloads into a pc or Palm Pilot™, or for quickly programming the various controller settings with a computer in a user-friendly pull-down menu format. Up to (31) DC5500 Controllers can be linked to a single LiquiComm Communications Module for remote communications on a standard analog phone line. The DC5500 can be used with a LiquiComm Communications Module and the LMI DataComm Software as a complete information management system for remote cooling tower accounts.

DC4500 Cooling Tower Controller
The DC4500 is a bleed and feed cooling tower controller with dual biocide timers. Standard features include; four feed modes (Feed & Bleed, % of Time, % of Bleed, Flowmeter Pulse), intermittent or continuous sampling, uS or PPM display, flow totalizer, manual test modes, temperature display, biocide cycle of 7, 14, or 28 days, biocide lockout, and conductivity or time-based biocide prebleed. Programming is simple and is accomplished with only three keys. The backlit liquid crystal display and LEDs provide a visual indication of operating conditions and equipment status.

DC4000 Cooling Tower/Boiler Controller
The DC4000 may be programmed as a bleed and feed cooling tower controller or boiler controller. Standard features include; four feed modes (Feed & Bleed, % of Time, % of Bleed, Flowmeter Pulse), intermittent or continuous sampling, uS or PPM display, flow totalizer, and manual test modes. The boiler mode includes a time-trap sampling method that prevents the flashing problems that are so common in boilers. Programming is simple and is accomplished with only three keys. The backlit liquid crystal display and LEDs provide a visual indication of operating conditions and equipment status.

DP5000 pH Controller
The DP5000 pH Controller is designed for a variety of industrial pH applications including water treatment, metal finishing, PCB manufacturing and waste treatment. It provides on/off or proportional (pulse) control of metering pumps for addition of acid or base. Level and flow inputs and alarm outputs are standard. An advanced menu includes special features such as the solenoid dump valve control for batch treatment and a “Point 3” (inflection point) adjustment for fine tuning the control profiles of the metering pumps. 4-20mA output is optional.

DR5000 ORP Controller
The DR5000 ORP Controller is very similar to the DP5000 described above, however, it is designed to control LMI Metering Pumps for the addition of oxidizing and reducing agents. It shares the same features and options as the DP5000 and is often used in water and wastewater treatment, fruit processing and metal finishing.

FS5000 Flow Switch Controller
The FS5000 Flow Switch Controller is designed for use in applications that require flow/no-flow control of metering pumps and other devices. It includes a flow switch and three (3) 115V receptacles that are powered with flow and one (1) 115V service receptacle. Power indicator light, flow indicator light and test switch are included.

Digi-Pulse Flow Monitors
Digi-Pulse Flow Monitors solve the age-old question “How do I know if my pump is pumping?” This innovative product is designed to be used with our Type “9” Metering Pumps to provide the user with verification of pump performance. If the Flow Monitor detects output loss, it will shut the pump off and close a switch that may be tied to an alarm. The alarm signal may also be used to trigger a stand-by pump.

Remote Flowmeter Pulsers
LMI’s RFP Remote Flowmeter Pulser provides a simple method to feed chemical in proportion to water flow. All that is required is the Flowmeter Pulser and the appropriately sized LMI Pump. The wall mount divider may be installed up to 100 feet from the flowmeter for easy user access. No other timers, relays or control valves are required. Flowmeters are available from 3/4” to 6” for flow rates from 0.44 to 1300 GPM.

Back Pressure/Pressure Relief Valves
LMI’s diaphragm back pressure/anti-syphon valves apply positive discharge pressure to a metering pump system and act to stabilize the output of higher output LMI Metering Pumps when pumping into low or no-pressure systems. Pressure relief valves are designed to protect chemical feed systems from overpressure damage caused by defective equipment or deadheading. Valves are available in 1/4”, 1/2”, and 1” sizes in PP, PVC, PVDF, and 316SS.

Four Function Valve (4FV)
This compact and economical valve performs four important functions for your LMI pump:
1. Diaphragm type anti-syphon protection
2. Back pressure
3. Priming aid/line drain
4. Pressure Relief
Priming with the 4FV is simple and is achieved by turning the pressure relief knob. We highly recommend this accessory for every LMI electromagnetic pump.

Bleed Four Function Valve (B4FV)
The Bleed Four Function Valve is designed to be used with LMI pumps that are handling chemicals that off-gas readily such as sodium hypochlorite. It allows the gases to escape without causing the pump to lose prime. The economical B4FV will fit new or existing LMI pumps; there is no need to replace the entire head assembly. Constructed of PVDF for durability and excellent chemical resistance.

Wall Mount Bracket
This molded polypropylene wall mount bracket is rugged and chemically resistant. Molded with mounting holes to accept any LMI electronic pump, installation is quick and easy. All of the hardware is included to attach the bracket to a stud or block wall and to mount your LMI pump.
