Based on peristaltic pump technology, the Z ChemGear Sampling System is self-priming because of its suction capability; furthermore, the unit can run dry and effectively purges air from sample lines. This results in consistent representative composite samples. Applications in which the Z ChemGear Portable Sampling System can be used are broad, including sampling from difficult remote locations, sampling very long poly tubes positioned under leach pads, tank sampling from any depth desired by tying the sampler tube to a rigid rod and other innovative sampling applications.
Sludge samples and composite samples of slurry can also be effectively obtained with the Z ChemGear Sampler Box when the particle diameters are up to 25% of the tubing’s internal diameter. Different diameters of tubing can be installed to meet particle size criteria.
